WWII 1940s - 60 Slides of United States Soldier at Middelburg Airfield TB8-SL1

Number of slides is approximate - these were marked Middleburg. There are candid shots around the base, interacting with natives, possibly some kind of infirmary, and other nature and attractions. They are from a soldier who was stationed in the south pacific during WWII. Slides were marked as being taken in 1942-1946, although some appear to have been printed later. See pics for condition.
