Vintage Eaton Gold Seal All-Steel Grain Bins Manual Assembly Instructions TH8

IMPORTANT: Before erecting your Eaton Gold Seal Grain Bin, check all pieces, bundles and cartons against the packing list to make certain all parts are included.
These instructions and pictures will give you basic erection instructions and from them you can improvise your own methods.
GENERAL NOTES: A long slender punch of about 5/16" diameter makes an ideal drift pin and may be used for punching holes for the roof hold down straps.
A small wrench for holding the nuts, a screw driver and a hammer are needed. Two step ladders and at least one pair of vice-grips will prove valuable.
Two men working together will assist each other in holding the sheets for alignment and will start and tighten bolts together.

Grain Bin is very important as it must support a load of approximately 500 pounds per square foot.
