It is a machine for grocers to cut
cheese of any weight by pounds or frac-
tions. The. base carries
a revolving
ta-
ble on which the cheese is placed.
Moving
the small lever in front revolves the
table.
One stroke of the lever revolves
the table just enough for the cleaver
knife to cut off a pound no matter what
the weight of the
cheese. One-quarter or
one-half stroke will move the table for
a fraction of a pound.
Where does the grocer make a profit?
He does not give overweight--Every
piece is the EXACT WEIGHT called for,
WHETHER CUT BY THE BOY OR BOSS. A canvass of
25 grocers demonstrated that 17 of them
from 17 to 21 ounces to the pound.
