St. Joseph MN David I. Walsh Addresses College Students 1935 Minneapolis Journal Article AE7-N5

St. Joseph, Minn., Sept. 19. -Sena-
tor David I. Walsh, United States
senator from Massachusetts, was a
guest at St. Benedict's College here
yesterday. He was accompanied by
Adolph Bremer, Otto Bremer, Clar-
ence Newcombe of St. Paul and A,
A. D. Rahn of Minneapolis.
In an address to the college stu-
dents, Senator Walsh, a graduate of
Holy Cross College and recipient of
the LL.D. from three Catholic uni-
versities,
congratulated
them
in
their choice of a school.
In sum-
ming up the value
of a
Catholic
education, Senator Walsh said:
"Though it has been my privilege
to have been governor of Massachu-
setts and three time United States
senator
