Savanna softies who started
to grow beards for a big July 4
celebration and then renegged
are being
brought
back
into
line
daily by Kangaroo courts
which place the recalcitrants in
stocks on Main street. Every
man in town agreed to let his
stubble grow until the Fourth,
but some got cold feet.
The
Kangaroo courts and fines and
sentences to the stocks resulted.
