GENERAL NOTES
•Standard Shutter, with ports 3" apart, is used for broadcast fertilizing or for grass seeding.
Note: Special Shutters, with "punch-out"
ports, are available through dealer for side dressing or band fertilizing operations.
A Feed Rate Table is provided in this Manual.
It is also reproduced on the inside cover of the Hopper. Here's how to use the Table: 1) Determine by soil test the kind and quantity of fertilizer the soil needs. 2) Consult Table, on Page 3, to determine the correct alphabetical or numerical setting to be used on the Regulator Plate. 3 Position Shutter Control Lever against Regulator Plate setting indicated by Table. 4) Keep Wing Nut on Regulator Plate tight during the entire spreading operation.
