MOUNTING PROCEDURE FOR NEW IDEA
SEEDER ATTACHMENTS
The seeder is bolted to the rear of your New Iden fertilizer spreader and is driven thru gears from the agicator shaft of the spreader. Flow of seed is controlled by a lever connection between the seeder sad the shutter of the spreader, so that when the spreader shutter is closed the lever connection stons the flos of seed from the seeder at the same time.
1 Place supports under the spreader and turn spreader upside down. Remove both wheels and stub shafts, being careful to note position of shims on back of stub shaft flanges so that these shims can later be replaced exactly as they were to preserve factory setting of agitator shafts. Clean end thrust collars of agitator shafts and also inside of end channels of spreader.
