GENERAL INFORMATION
The New Idea® 4111 Dual Rake Hitch is a multi-position, hydraulically actuated hitch. The hitch reduces raking time and fuel consumption. The rakes may be configured in a variety of positions to produce double or single windrows as desired or as crop conditions dictate. Rear rake positioning, both for field work and for transport, may be accomplished without leaving the tractor seat. To go from transport to field work, or from the field to transport, however, the operator must leave the tractor seat to connect/disconnect the safety bar.
The transport width is 7'7" ft. (2.31 m).
The tractor used the with the 4111 Dual Rake Hitch must have at least one double acting remote hydraulic circuit with two outlets. If the one or both rakes to be used are hydraulically driven, an additional circuit is required.
