GENERAL CUTTING INFORMATION
• Except in an emergency, allow the machine to clear itself of material before stopping. If it is necessary to stop the machine when full of material, bring it up to speed as quickly as possible when restarting to prevent plugging at the blower. The feed roll drive should be in neutral until the unit has cleared itself.
• Always operate at full throttle.
LENGTH OF CUT
Figs. 15, 16 & 17 -
To change the length of cut, shift the feed rolls to the reverse position as described on Page 14, under "Feed Roll Operation." Then turn the engine off and proceed as follows: Use the cutterhead wrench provided to manually turn the cutterhead as illustrated and described on Page 17, Figure
