Tractors with 80 HP to 125 HP with 1-3/8" P.T.O. can be used with the snowplow. The tractor is to be operated at 540 RPM-PTO speed. Live P.T.O. is absolutely essential. The tractor must be equipped with category 2 or 3, three point hitch and adjustable top link pin with (3) quick lock pins for mounting.
Note: It is not advisable to mount the No. 519 Plow on Row crop or high arch front axle tractors which usually have higher rear wheels and a higher P.T.O. center, resulting in too great an angle to the P.T.O. shaft. The operating angle of the P.T.O. shaft should not exceed 20°
Adjust the tractor hitch so that blower is level, resting on the shoes, with the cutting blade ap. proximately 1/2" clear of the ground.
The Plow is equipped with two shear bolts to help reduce damage from foreign objects entering the machine. The first is a 3/8" × 2" Grade 5
