To celebrate one hundred years of the Iriple Crown, the Kentucky Derby Museum has opened their vault to showcase the Triple Crown collections, beginning with the horse who started it all in 1919-
Sir Barton.
Belmont Stakes Presentation Cup
Although not the official trophy for the 1919 Belmont Stakes, this presentation cup documents Sir Barton's historic achievement as the first Triple Grown winner.
Joshua Evans, long-time president of the Belmont Driving Park in Pennsylvania, presented this trophy to Sir Barton's connections.
