San Francisco, April 1.-(P)--John
Paul Chase joined other notorious
criminals behind the walls of Al-
catraz federal prison today as trial
of nine persons accused of harbor-
ing his slain
companion,
George
"Baby Face" Nelson, continued in
federal court here. Chase was con-
victed of killing one of two federal
agents slain in Nelson's last battle
at Barrington, Ill.
