man who offered $10,000 in cash to
any couple who would adopt a bahy
of
"discreet origin,"
announced to
day he had withdrawn his offer and
that he was retiring from business.
Wesselhoeft, none too cordial to
questioners, inserted the following
advertisement
in
newspapers
at
Kansas City and Memphis, Tenn.
"Unusual
publicity
in
Chicago
newspapers force my client to can-
cel all applications for adoption of
the baby with $10,000. A. Wesselhoft,
