UNHITCHING FROM TRACTOR
The preferred machine position for unhitching is with header down, tongue in transport position and tongue lock engaged
However, the mower conditioner can be parked with the header raised (Fig. 7), wheels blocked and the header locks engaged.
The implement can also be parked with the tongue in operating position (Fig. 8), with the header raised or lowered.
Use PTO driveline support to hold driveline when machine is parked (Fig. 9).
TRANSPORTING
1. To transport the implement, raise header to full height and engage header locks (Fig. 10, p. 10)
WARNING! ALWAYS ENGAGE HEADER AND
TONGUE LOCKS WHEN PREPARING
TO TRANSPORT IMPLEMENT.
2. Place tongue lock lever in lock position and swing tongue to transport position (Fig. 12, p
10). Be sure tongue lock engages when tongue is centered
3. Observe all safety precautions (p. 4).
