LUBRICATION:
A. HUB AND SPINDLE ASSEMBLIES
1. The hub and spindle assemblies are packed with grease at the factory.
Grease fittings are installed in
each hub.
Grease once each week during steady use.
CAUTION - DO NOT OVERGREASE and cause subsequent damage by pushing the seals out
2. Check each hub and spindle assembly for looseness after several days of use and periodically there-after.
Tighten the spindle nut if any sideplay
is evident in the bearings.
3. Clean and repack the hub and spindle bearings once each season.
Tighten the spindle nut so that there
is a slight drag on the wheel when turned by hand.
B. WALKING TANDEM ASSEMBIES
1.
The walking tandem assemblies are packed with grease at the factory.
2. Check each walking tandem assembly for looseness after several days of use and periodically thereafter
Tighten the spindle nut if any sideplay
is evident in the bearings.
