1975 American Airlines Report of Annual Meeting of Stockholders Boston MA AB8

EXTRACTS OF REMARKS
BY CHAIRMAN CASEY
It is appropriate that this year's stockholders meeting be held here in one of the birthplaces of America and of American Airlines. Boston figures prominently in the early history of this Company.

Therefore, as the nation marks its Bicentennial in 1976, we shall be observing the 50th anniversary of the forebears of American . . . including a half-century of continuous service at Boston.
Through the years, Boston has been one of the most important cities of our system. More than 1,300 of our people live and work here and it is one of our nine flight crew bases.
