Flood relief operations began going into high gear in Lebanon County today in the wake of a meeting F
Monday between local and county officials and representatives of various agencies involved in the relief [ agencies
project.
While the meeting did not answer all the problems clarified some questions and in a sense got the ball

It was indicated that other meetings will be needed I is problems are encountered.
In general the meeting revealed that the major prob-em to be solved is that of getting both short-term and

ong-term housing for flood victims.
Melvyn Kaplan, head of the Lebanon County Redevelopment Authority office, estimated that 150 to

200 housing units are required. It was indicated that this figure will increase.
It was explained that in
some instances two and three families are now sharing the same temporary quarters but this cannot continue.
