and waxed, it is a simple matter to keep them
bright and spotless by daily dusting with an
untreated mop, and by cleaning and waxing
periodically. But it is very difficult to restore
a floor to its original beauty after it has been
neglected to the point where it is worn in
spots, and after dirt has become imbedded.

Never use
The first rule for proper floor maintenance is;
water to clean
hardwood
floors, and use as little as bossible on linoleum.
This is highly important because
soap and
water will injure both the finish and the wood
of hardwood floors.
Water
