1950s Columbian Red Top Corn Cribs Manual Assembly Instructions TH8
The illustration on the front cover indicates component parts and the proper use of bolts and nuts, clips and other hardware for a completely erected crib.
For
foundation anchorage illustration, see the back outside cover. The first ring of crib sections should be laid out around the foundation at the approximate positions where the will be erected.
First, make sure the foundation is
level. The section with the door opening is elevated and held in position at a point on the foundation where the entrance is desired.
(If crib is to be installed on concrete
foundation, see foundation drawing on preceding pages for proper size crib).
Other sections in the bottom ring
are interchangeable. The vertical angle legs of each section are bolted together using ⅗'×¾" tank bolts and nuts. It is advisable not to tighten any of these bolts until all bolts in the sidewall are in place.
