INTRODUCTION
Safety is of the first importance in the discharge of duty, and obedience to rules is essential to safety.
The rules herein set forth govern the employes of the railroads operated by the Northern Pacific Railway Com-pany, and effective January 1, 1946, supersede all previous safety rules and instructions inconsistent therewith.
These rules are supplementary to and a part o the Operating Rules governing the operation of the above properties.
